“Le problème du jour” for Grade 4 features a set of math problems for each day of the week. With a Saint Patrick's Day theme, this set of 20 problems is perfect for the month of March.
You can use these questions as a "Minds on" Math activity, bell work task or even for homework. Questions spiral and increase in difficulty as the year progresses. This allows your students to continue to practice their Number Sense and Patterning skills throughout the year, even as you move on to other topics.
This resource includes 2 formats. The questions are the same for each format. Choose which style works best for your students:
1) One page per week: Print and place these sheets in a duotang. Students can answer one question a day to complete the week.
2) Interactive Notebook: Each week is created in a “flip” book style. Students need to cut along the horizontal line and then glue the page into their Math notebooks. Each day they read the appropriate question, flip it over and answer in their notebook!
