This French Spring Emergent Reader explores activities that students like to do in the Spring. This book focuses on the language structure "J'aime ..." with the verb in the infinitive.
Activities include: faire de la bicyclette, faire voler un cerf-volant, faire du patin à roulettes, faire de la trottinette, jardiner, faire des bulles, jouer au baseball, jouer au soccer, jouer dans la pluie. Alternative vocabulary is provided for: jouer au football, faire du vélo
Included in this package is the full colour version in 8 ½ by 11 size. In my classroom, I use this as a “Big Book”! I bind it together and place it in my class library. Early learners love being able to read it over and over again.
Also included are two half page size black and white versions. The first has all text and illustrations. The second version leaves out the images. Students need to read the text and provide their own illustration or cut out the images provided and glue them to the correct place.
In this package, you will also find a title page (in colour and black and white) and 2 different student pages for you to create a class book where each student writes their own page.
