This set of journal writing prompts for October will keep your students writing all month long! Prompts include questions for the themes of Autumn/Fall, Friendship, Halloween and Fire Safety! I have also included two prompts in honour of the Canadian Thanksgiving celebrated this month! With 22 journal prompts, each prompt is sized to 8 ½ by 11. I use these posters in my pre-writing activities to get students thinking and talking about the topic. I have also included smaller black and white versions that can be cut out and glued into a notebook.
DIGITAL Version also included! Students can type directly on the pages. Created with Google Slides™, you can assign the prompts to students through your Google Classroom™!
If you prefer to photocopy a journal, I have also included 2 different cover pages, as well as a variety of lined paper to make your own journal.
