Le problème du jour: French Grade 3 Math Word Problem of the day (février)

$2.81 CAD
SKU: 1654412
“Le problème du jour” for Grade 3 features a set of math problems for each day of the week. With a Valetine's Day/Ground Hog Day theme, this set of 20 problems is perfect for the month of February.

You can use these questions as a "Minds on" Math activity for your Math Block or as a bell ringer. Questions spiral and increase in difficulty as the year progresses. This allows your students to continue to practice their Number Sense and Patterning skills throughout the year, even as you move on to other topics.

This resource includes 2 formats. The questions are the same for each format. Choose which style works best for your students:
1) One page per week: Print and place these sheets in a duotang. Students can answer one question a day to complete the week.
2) Interactive Notebook: Each week is created in a “flip” book style. Students need to cut along the horizontal line and then glue the page into their Math notebooks. Each day they read the appropriate question, flip it over and answer in their notebook!

The questions have been designed with Grade 3 French Immersion students in mind and cover a variety of skills:
  • Ordering numbers to 1000
  • Adding and subtracting to 100 with and without regrouping
  • Skip counting to 200
  • Fact Families
  • Fractions
  • Number Patterns
  • Patterning with 2 attributes
  • Place Value to 1000
  • Money
  • Elapsed Time to the five minutes
