This emergent reader is part of series featuring the colors in French! With a fun language structure pattern, beginning learners of French will enjoy the surprise ending. Following the question phrase “Est-ce que le _______est jaune?” , this repetitive book features key, practical vocabulary. Within this package, you will find a 8 ½ by 11 size Big Book to print. I use this version to read aloud to my class and for shared reading. This book also goes into our classroom library where it proves to be a favourite! Also included are two half page black and white versions: one to use as a colouring book and the second for students to illustrate. I send these home with my students. Finally, we use this book as the starting point for a class book and I’ve included everything you need to make a class book!
