Working on problem solving skills? This set of 30 word problems features unknown parts and is a great addition to your Math activities in French. Using numbers within 20, students are asked to draw a picture, count on a ten frame, use a number line, write an equation and conclude with a final sentence to solve a series of word problems.
This set of questions is not theme based, making them perfect to teach problem solving any time throughout the year. 15 of the problems are written the start unknown and the second set of 15 problems are written where the change is unknown. Some questions also have the final sentence started while others have students write their own final sentence, offering lots of opportunities for differentiation.
